Cannon Service
Regular Service & Maintenance of powered access platforms is a requirement of Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER 1998) and Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER 1998).
We are pleased to be able to offer our extensive workshop and on site facilities to maintain our own and our customers machinery and equipment.
Our services are as broad as our knowledge, including:
- Routine servicing
- LOLER examinations
- Hydraulic repairs and re-hosing both on site and in our workshop
- Mechanical repairs
- Electrical repairs, re-wiring, fault finding and diagnosing
- Fabricating new parts and panels
- MIG and TIG Welding
- Paint spraying
LOLER Examinations:
You will receive a copy of On-Site Work Report, a weatherproof LOLER sticker for your access platform and a PDF Certificate of Thorough Examination (laminated hard copy is available upon request at no extra cost). We will set up a LOLER Safety File for each of your machines to record all procedures, inspections, servicing, repairs and Thorough Examinations performed by us. We will notify you in advance when your next inspection is due and book an appointment for an agreed date to ensure you comply with the law.
We have been based at our premises in Tiptree since 1944 and steelwork is in our blood! We have the capability to repair or re-fabricate even the most distressed items, we also refurbish equipment to bring even the oldest machines up to or exceeding current standards. We have stripped machinery to even the last nut and bolt where it is justified to give a new lease of life to equipment.
